ISLAMABAD, Nov. 4 (Xinhua) -- Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan and Chairman of the presidency of Bosnia-Herzegovina Sefik Dzaferovic on Wednesday agreed to further mutual cooperation in various fields, especially in economic activities, trade and investment, and science and technology, the Prime Minister Office of Pakistan said.

The Pakistani prime minister exchanged views with Dzaferovic, who is in Pakistan for a two-day official visit, on the entire gamut of bilateral relations and the two leaders agreed to maintain frequent bilateral exchanges at the highest level, according to a statement issued by the Prime Minister Office.

Following the official welcoming ceremony, the two leaders held a one-on-one meeting, followed by delegation-level talks, the statement said.

During the meetings, Khan said that Pakistan shared brotherly affinity with the people of Bosnia-Herzegovina and relations between the two countries were marked by mutual support at times of need.

Khan highlighted Pakistan's effective efforts in fighting COVID-19 through a smart lockdown strategy and focus on saving lives, securing livelihoods, and stimulating the economy.
