侨与中国梦丨司徒国海：被《相对论》吸引，甘愿成为“追光者”

After working in University College Dublin, the University of Stuttgart and Princeton University, Situ Guohai returned to China in 2012 to work as a research fellow in the Shanghai Institute of Optics and Fine Mechanics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Thanks to his team’s efforts, China is forging ahead towards the forefront of research in computational optical imaging, phase retrieval technology and optical information processing. “China’s optical research, over the last decade, has gained more international influence,” said Situ. “Especially in recent years, in some areas it is leading the world.”  

中学时代充满神秘感的《相对论》，成为了司徒国海大学选择“光学”专业方向的契机，而这一扎下去，就是二十多年。面对相关领域的科技前沿和中国国家战略需求，他开始带领团队开展了计算光学成像方面的研究。对他而言，在这个技术要求比较高的年代，能够通过自己的知识去实现自己的价值，是一件很有成就感的事情。
