Giant installations of skeletons and skulls featuring Day of the Dead motifs

Halloween is just around the corner, and it’s time to have a spooky celebration.

Giant jack-o'-lanterns, bunches of paper-made marigolds, skeleton and skull sculptures are everywhere at Kerry Parkside.

There is also a marimba, a percussion instrument, for people to play; or they can light up wine bottles held by a “skeleton musician.”

Besides Halloween, the decor borrows from the Day of the Dead, a Halloween-style Mexican holiday. Starting from October 31 and ending on November 2, the holiday involves family and friends gathering to pray for and remember friends and family members who have died.
