The price for COVID-19 nucleic acid tests has been lowered in Shanghai’s public medical institutions.

To further reduce people’s financial burden, hospitals in several provinces and municipalities have reduced the prices of nucleic acid tests. In Shanghai, the price was lowered from 60 to 40 RMB. The lowered price is valid starting from 0:00am on November 29.

Following the news, Huashan Hospital and Shanghai Tenth People’s Hospital have both announced they will provide 24-hour testing services.
