The eighth season of the LABELHOOD Pioneer Fashion & Arts Festival kicked off 11 Oct at Shanghai Minsheng Wharf. As a pivotal component of Shanghai Fashion Week, LABELHOOD has always been open to both industry professionals and the general public and is committed to acting as a community platform that connects international fashion, original Chinese design, the mass market and the perspective of a young rising generation. This season, under the theme of Out of this World, LABELHOOD breaks down archaic borders to embrace the creativity and vitality of diversity.

On the first day of the LABELHOOD Spring/Summer 2020 shows, five designer brands - DANSHAN, Windowsen, M SUPER AVENIR, XIMONLEE and ROARINGWILD - presented their interpretations for the Spring/Summer 2020 season through their designs. Among these, Windowsen presented for LABELHOOD for the first time.

Theme：Sensen Lii's Magical Post-gender Alien World

This new collection's uniquely unsettling aesthetic immerses us in a fantastical alien world. Each outfit is formed to resemble a different alien creature, interspersed throughout a dreamy milieu.

Brands have always approached fashion with the same gendered notions: menswear, womenswear, and unisex. “I dream of a world of gender fluidity, where no matter your gender identity, you can walk down the street in a skirt or whatever piece of clothing you love,” explains the designer. “This world is also a place where words like 'beautiful' and 'ugly' no longer have relevance. This message I want to convey to the world is far greater than the clothing itself.”
